Pacific Building Group’s Chairman of the Board Greg Rogers has more than 30 years experience in every level of commercial construction. Upon graduating from San Diego’s Hoover High School in 1968, Greg embarked on a career in construction after completing an apprenticeship with the District Council Carpenters. He began as a journeyman carpenter and drywall hanger and progressed as a project foreman and a general superintendent for several construction companies. In 1984, Greg founded Pacific Interior Systems (PIS), which grew to become one of San Diego’s leading tenant improvements specialists. In 2001, Pacific Interior Systems, along with its Pacific General Construction and Corporate Facilities Services divisions, were consolidated under the name of the “Pacific Building Group.” Following the appointment of Jim Roherty to company President, Greg now concentrates on strategic long-range planning as well as marketing, new business development and overall client contact.
Greg continues to be actively involved in community issues in San Diego County and serves as an Emeritus Board Member for both the San Diego Rescue Mission and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego. He is also is the past Chairman for the Associated Builders & Contractors, San Diego (ABC) and an active member of NAIOP, San Diego Chapter and the Associated General Contractors, San Diego (AGC).
