Hillel San Diego

This project, which was the dream of our client's for 20 years, will serve as a cultural hub to local Jewish students, families, and friends. Strategically located adjacent to the UC San Diego campus, the facility will be utilized to host Jewish holiday experiences and Jewish learning and community activities, with flexible spaces designed for student programs, meetings, one-on-one mentorship and religious services. Project scope consisted of the ground up construction of 3 wood framed educational buildings totaling 6,544 SF including a parking lot and extensive site work on a 70,416 SF lot. The buildings include offices, a "wisdom wall" library, community spaces, a Shabbat kitchen, showers, restrooms, and an elevator.
