San Diego native Derek Krider has a 30-year career in construction that’s transcended market conditions and coasts. As Pacific Building Group’s Director of Field Operations, Derek oversees field superintendents, construction operations and safety and manages subcontractors and trades. An integrity-driven leader, he’s rebuilt organizations, including what’s now the largest general contractor in Georgia. He previously oversaw 2,500 employees for South Carolina developer, and more recently, worked on an $85 million hotel expansion in Huntington Beach. One of Derek’s first projects was Sharp Mary Birch Hospital, and now he’s back in San Diego, bringing decades of experience to PBG’s clients.
