Lisa Hitt is the Chief Financial Officer for Pacific Building Group, with responsibility for the financial management of the company, and is involved in the strategic planning for operations, risk management, software management, and systems improvements. With over 35 years of experience in the construction financial accounting industry, her expertise and knowledge provides the company with a strong platform for growth and stability in the market.
Lisa’s career began in the early 80’s working in her family’s federal general contracting firm. After gaining additional experience working in the construction industry, she founded her own company providing part-time Controller and CFO services to contractors in the early 90’s. Concurrently during this time, she acquired a national construction job cost accounting and project management software company in 1997, where she was President and CEO until the company was sold in early 2008.
In addition, Lisa has lectured for CFMA’s National Conference and instructed for the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and through the extended studies program at San Diego State University on various topics including; earned value management, budget control, basic construction accounting, alternate methods of depreciation and internal utilization for heavy equipment in down markets.
Lisa holds a B.A. in Accounting and has earned both her CRIS and CCIFP designations. She has served on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Chapter of CFMA, ICCIFP and East County Posse (a charitable construction group). Lisa also volunteers her time with the Armed Forces YMCA and sits on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Chapter.
