This 15,455 SF project involved a first generation tenant improvement located on the penthouse floor of the Hines La Jolla Commons Tower I office building. The design incorporated large open spaces with unique gathering and break out areas that included wood ceilings, open ceilings, glass walls, and garage doors. The scope also included new mechanical and electrical systems that were integrated into the building systems and landlord work for the new hallway configuration. The project was completed in a fully occupied building. Pacific Building Group provided preconstruction services with a critical focus on early procurement for equipment and materials, during the same time that the team was mobilizing on site in preparation of obtaining the permit for work to proceed . The project was completed with an early turnover for coordination with IT and the critical server room system integration.
