Company
Greg Rogers, CEO of Pacific Building Group, founded the company in 1984, specializing in Tenant Improvements. Since then the company has grown, not only in its TI work, but also expanded into other areas. In fact, spurred by client referrals and an excellent work record, we are one of the fastest growing contractors in Southern California.
Pacific Building Group can manage building projects ranging from $1.0 million to $50.0 million from the ground up. Pacific Building Group has completed projects totaling more than $600 million, including corporate office buildings, bank facilities, hospitality, high-tech manufacturing and research parks, computer labs, hospitals, medical office buildings, retail centers, churches and institutional buildings.
Today, Pacific Building Group employs a crew of over 100 craft workers that perform drywall and metal stud framing, door frames and hardware, and selective demolition. The Self Performed division of the company allows Pacific Building Group to have a unique advantage when being compared to other General Contractors. That advantage comes from having full control of the schedule during framing and drywall portion of the work. Performing work with our own forces can allow us to be more competitive, especially when a large amount of tenant build out is involved in the project.
Our Facilities Services Division relies on a deep pool of expertise within the company, which gives us the resources to handle tenant additions, interior modifications, and even complete retrofits quickly and cost-effectively to commercial, retail, financial and industrial buildings. This division is a complete property and facilities maintenance group with the ability to provide a large range of services to Property, Asset, Facility and Financial Managers.
Additionally, Advanced Acoustic Contractors, Inc. is the acoustical ceiling division of Pacific Building Group and is considered one of the leaders in the industry. They are the “preferred” ceiling contractor for some of San Diego’s largest general contractors and Fortune 500 companies. This division of the company also gives us a competitive advantage by self-performing yet another portion of the work. This advantage can be seen in both the schedule and the cost, similar to the other areas of self-performed work.
